Hard Core Male Driven ‘G4TV’ Doing ‘Hurt Locker’ Based Reality Show
G4TV targets young males and this new show is perfect for the network. Truly perfect. In fact guys my age will probably tune in to watch this reality show again.
James Hibberd over at ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ says the new show is being billed as the real live ‘Hurt Locker’ which was the award winning movie which followed a special team of soldiers responsible for disarming bombs in war torn Baghad. This new reality show is called ‘Bomb Patrol: Afghanistan’ which will have producers following the special training these elite team’s receive and their deployment over to Afghanistan to do their work.
10 episodes have been ordered. And a special deal with was agreed to by the producers and the Navy to highlight the Explosives Ordnance Disposal unit.
‘Bomb Patrol: Afghanistan’ hits G4TV in the spring of 2011 and if you like to see things blowing up then this is your show.
