FOX News Suspends New Gingrich, Rick Santorum
Well the race to replace Barack Obama is on it’s way, at least from the Republican side. And it was made even more official as FOX News Channel has told two of their political contributors to take a hike. And well before the two announce their real intentions to run for President.

Newt Gingrich
Just for the record, there is an equal time edict from the FCC that states that if you run for political office, all of your opponents get equal air time on radio or television. So if Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum are even in the thinking process of running for President. FOX News wants to stay out of the way of any federal intervention especially with a Democrat running the country.
Both have been officially suspended for 60 days with an intent to terminate their contracts if they decide to run for President.
With about 15 potential candidates running for President on the Republican end, that would create a lot of equal time for a lot of people who would come out of the woodwork to run for President.
Sarah Palin still has a gig though with FOX News. Why? Because apparently the network feels that Gingrich and Santorum are closer to making their announcements to run.
