Female Journalists Quit Al Jazeera Over Wardrobe

Joumana Nammour, Al Jazeera...

And they were only wearing pantsuits.  Can you imagine?  Women on the air at Al Jazeera, the Muslim focused television network based in Quatar, have quit their jobs over clothing issues.

Women in Muslim countries are required to cover their hair at all times but these five female journalists don’t during broadcasts of their news programs.  Management of Al Jazeera criticized the hair showing newscasters for their ”clothes and decency’ and those women told Al Jazeera to stick it.

They repeatedly went on the air without makeup or having covered hair.  So when criticized they quit.   Joumana Nammour pictured here was one of those journalists.

Next time you complain about America, think of this story.
