‘CSI’ Finally Gets Katie Sackhoff

She was selected to succeed Jorja Fox on the CBS series ‘CSI’ a few years ago but was not added to the show because the network and Jerry Bruckheimer weren’t convinced she was a right fit.

She sure was convincing in her recurring role on ’24′ where she was just awesome.  Now there’s a reason for me to tune in to this season’s new episodes of ‘CSI’ cause Katie Sackhoff is the snap.

Katie SackhoffTV Guide’s Michael Ausiello says Katie will be joining ‘CSI’ as Detective Reed on this season’s new episodes of the crime drama.  She will jump in to the new role in November and will be there on a recurring basis.

It will be good to see her back.  She was really dirty and slimy on ’24′ and made a name for herself in that series.  She’ll be a good guy in ‘CSI.’
