Real TV Critics

Looks like the success of ‘The Mentalist’ is spawning new cop dramas with very unlikely characters becoming crime busters.  Coming soon to a TV set near you will be two new shows.  One will feature a cop by day and an Elvis impersonator by night (read the George Clooney story) and now a crime solving magician.  So far an untitled project from the writer of ‘NCIS” series on CBS.

So here’s the concept.  A magician career is in ruins after he develops stage fright and acrophobia.  And then an elite law enforcement agency hires him to take unusual approaches to help them solve crimes.  No time set on when it will air and what network will be picking up the new series.
