‘Cookie Diet’ Doc Sues E!’ Reality Star Kim Kardashian over Tweet

You gotta be careful with these social media sites and how you use them.  Kim Kardashian now knows what you say on Twitter can get you in trouble and the guy who created the ‘Cookie Diet’ program is suing over one of her Tweets. 

Dr. Sanford Siegal says Kim statements on Twitter were false and defamatory yet this guy allegedly named her as a user of his diet in a news article on CookieDiet.com.

Kim for the record gets paid $10,000 per Tweet to endorse another diet product called Quick Trim.

Oh it must be January, the highest month of the year for selling diet programs that don’t work.  Spell this word everyone G-Y-M. 

OK enough.  Anyway this Dr. Siegal pulled the article that mentioned Kim’s connection to his diet plan and then Kim tweeted “I would never do this unhealthy diet!”

Hence the lawsuit.

This practice of using celebrities name and likeness has got a lot of low life companies in trouble lately.  Oprah and Dr. Oz filed a major lawsuit last year over product makers who said those two endorsed their products.
