Conan, Howard Stern Fav Comic Robert Schimmel in Fatal Car Crash
You probably know the name more than his material. Cause you have to prepare yourself for his humor since it was truly adult oriented but the guy was damn funny. Comedian Robert Schimmel, who had a lot of ups and downs in his life, was killed in a car accident in Scottsdale, Arizona.
News of his passing is just being reported as the accident happened on August 26th when he and his son and daughter were traveling on the 101 in Scottsdale. His 19 year old Aliyah was driving the car when she lost control after being run off the road by an SUV. The kids were injured but both are expected to fully recover.
Schimmel’s ups and downs will make you look past the everyday issues most of us have in our lives. He survived the death of his 11 year old son from cancer, he fought the fight and beat non-Hodgkins lymphoma, a heart attack and Hepatitis C which was contracted during surgery when he was in the Air Force.
Schimmel was 60 years old.
