CNN’s Anderson Cooper Blasts Vince Vaughn Movie Trailer…Anderson Cooper and Vince Vaughn won’t be lunching together at Spago anytime soon. Not after the trailer for Vince’s new movie and Anderson’s appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show.’
And all Anderson wanted to do was to see a movie and he saw a trailer that made him pretty angry.
Seems there’s a new trailer for a movie coming soon to a theater near you and it looks like a pretty stupid one. But anyway Vince Vaughn is starring in it and the trailer seems the use of the word “gay” early and ofter and now has Anderson pretty ticked off.

The use of the word comes up a few times in the trailer and the comments buy Anderson on Ellen’s show has made Universal Studios pull the trailer from previews at movie theaters. It’s for Vince Vaughn’s ‘The Dilemma’ and the verbiage used has everyone in the gay community up in arms especially after the Rutgers University student suicide incident that has highlighted a group that feels it is under assault.
You check out the trailer. Why this is even necessary in the movie does not even connect to the foundation of the film. But Universal has pulled it saying “the teaser…was not intended to cause anyone discomfort” and that “a full trailer…will post online.”
What’s even more sad is that Queen Latifah is in the movie and she’s come out herself recently with her girlfriend. She was part of the scene where Vaughn repeated the word.
