Chris Brown, Rihanna on GMA Set Together? E! Says “Yes”
And or course this would be one heck of a ratings grabber for the ABC early morning show Good Morning America now that the network says it won’t put paper on Chris Brown following his destruction of a dressing room mirror recently.
E! is reporting that ABC wants to have both combatants in their one on one battle in the ritzy Hancock Park section of Los Angeles on the set together for an interview. The restraining order place on Brown as a stay-away from Rihanna has been lifted so them seated together has no legal ramifications. And if I were Chris Brown I would agree to doing another interview rather than facing whatever charges that could be filed.
An ABC Network source told E! “it’s all about the ratings” and as we have noted several times on this blog, ABC is not taking any prisoners in its ongoing battle to unseat NBC’s Today Show as the top morning show. So put Chris and Rihanna together and it will be like the recent ABC interviews with Charlie Sheen. Which they used over and over and over and over and over and over again on the network.
Who would do the interview? E! is saying it would be Robin Roberts whose questions to Chris Brown led him to the mirror incident. If you remember Dianne Sawyer got first dibs on Rihanna after the initial beating handed to her by Brown but she is not involved in this opportunity for an interview.
