CBS Football Guy Shannon Sharpe Quits Amid Assault Allegations
Well here we go again. Another sports announcer in trouble and this time he may be the victim of a really whacked out stalker. Shannon Sharpe, a former player with the Denver Broncos and the Baltimore Ravens, left his position with the CBS Sunday show ‘NFL Today’ after being accused of stalking, sexual assault and threatening a woman’s life.

Seems the charges by some reports have been dropped by Michele Bundy, his accuser. The Denver Post is saying the allegations against the future Hall of Famer have been “voluntarily dismissed.” At this writing we don’t really know what’s going on. So this is an ongoing story as some of her friends have said she has been the one doing the stalking and wants to have a relationship with the football analyst. He clearly at this point probably is looking out his window checking for her license plate, ready to call 911.
We all know. There are three sides to every story. His, her’s and the truth. It would be a terrible, awful tragedy if the allegations against him pan and even more morally disheartening if she’s a woman scorned.
“I have decided to step aside…until this matter is resolved” said Shannon Sharpe in a statement.
