CBS Comedy ‘Mike and Molly’ Tops List for Viewer Engagement

This is great news for a really solid new show.  What advertisers look for is to move product on the store shelves or get you to act a certain way to their advertising message.  In the ‘Direct Response’ business we used to call it a call to action.  If people did not respond, then most people in the ‘DR’ world considered that advertisement a waste.

mike-and-molly-2The new CBS comedy ‘Mike and Molly’ apparently will be a huge attraction to advertisers wanting to get a response to their message because the show ranks first in ‘viewer engagement’ studies just released.  Meaning that viewers tend to be more attentive to the programming content of ‘Mike and Molly’ and are truly ‘engaged’ in what’s happening during the show.  Thereby more likely to respond to the ‘call to action’ in the commercials that run in the program.

Advertisers should be lining up for not only running commercials but trying to get CBS to do product placement in that show.  Lining up.

Coming in second was ‘Raising Hope’ and ‘Running Wilde’ both on FOX.

‘Mike and Molly,’ according to this blog, is without question one of the best new comedies on television.
