Think Life is Bad? A ‘Left At The Altar’ Special on TLC
So if you’re planning a wedding or think that because you’re walking down the aisle soon that all is good in the neighborhood, you may want to watch this show. Or you might not want to watch this Friday night’s ‘Left At The Altar’ one hour special on TLC.
How do people open their personal lives to public on these shows? But you could ask the same question about the women who can find their babies daddies on a weekly episode of ‘Maury.’
So this special looks at four people. Nicole, Cyndi, Michael and Valerie. Nicole met ‘Mr. Right’ (is there truly a ‘Mr. Right’) on vacation but they lived on separate continents.
That should have been a clue. He decides not to show up for the ceremony.
Cyndi takes her boyfriend on a trip she won to Hawaii. He proposes on that excursion and hours before the wedding he calls it off and takes off to their honeymoon destination alone
Okay….
Michael, well Michael you see he planned a romantic wedding in Ireland when his girl told him, after the ceremony, that she did not want to be with him.
Is this a Gloria Allred moment?
Then there’s Valerie.
Relax this is almost over.
Valerie was young when she fell head over heals for Kyle and actually moved out of her hometown to be with him. Her own Mama told her this was a mistake. And Valerie wasn’t sure as well and ended up in the hospital with a fake ailment, then told Kyle she didn’t want to marry him.
A year later she realized she made a mistake and they’ve planned a second wedding.
Kyle might want to think about realizing something as well.
OK enough fun. TLC’s special ‘Left At The Altar’ airs 10PM Friday.
