Best Commercial of This Nasty Political Season, the ‘Terminator’ and James Cameron

Well my friends in less than a week we will be free of all political advertising for a little more than a year before the general election rolls around.  And truly good riddance.  Cause it’s been ugly.  Not only the content of the ad’s messages but everything about the constant fighting and bickering just makes you miserable, doesn’t it?

terminatorHere in California, it would be nice for all of them to lose.  How many more crappy commercials can we see from Barbara Boxer taking on Carly Fiorina.  Then Jerry Brown and Meg Whitman running for Governor of this broke ass state and it’s relatively miserable.  Thank God for DVR’s cause you can speed past them.

The only people happy right now are the TV stations making loads of money during this political season.

One commercial stands out.  ‘Avatar’ director James Cameron hooks up with Governor Arnold for one of those propositions all about climate change.   Now that Arnold no longer has a future in politics, teaming up with his old producer might be a good career move.

Remember when there  was all that talk about changing the constitution to allow Arnold a chance to run for President?  Now Arnold couldn’t run for President of the Home and School association and expect to win.

But this is a good commercial.  Even in this sad, political season of stupidity.  It’s almost over.  It’s almost over.
