Another ABC-TV Idiot, ‘Army Wives’ Producer Uses the ‘N’ Word

Sometimes people can be really stupid. And more important they have to realize who they work for when they do or say stupid things.
Mark Gordon is stupid.
Mark Gordon produces some really good television and movies. He works with one of TV’s hottest African American women in television, Shonda Rhimes on ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and ‘Private Practice.’ And he’s working on the ‘Army Wives’ spin-off with two African American performers, the very well known Gabrielle Union and Wendy Davis who was regular in the Lifetime series.
Well this dumb ass used the ‘N’ word during a script read for the new Lifetime show.
For the record, Lifetime is owned by ABC. So Gordon needs to understand, if he doesn’t already at this point, that ABC “don’t play” when it comes to this kind of crap.
In fact, search this site for the story about another ABC moron Steve McPherson, the former ABC TV chief, who lost his job because of a sexual harassment. He of course denies everything but most of his issues come from one of those company retreats which is nothing more than a bunch of men getting drunk, going to strip clubs and thinking that their stuff don’t stink.
Yes I used to work for CBS so I really, really, truly get it. I get it.
Now Gordon is in a stink. Dude is doing a table read for the pilot of the new show and apparently got too deep in to the session. There was one scene where someone pulls a gun on another and he said, and I quote, “I’m going to kill you nigger…nigger.”
All righty!
And he didn’t say it once, but twice.
IDIOT!!!
Gordon did apologize after the verbiage which of course is what you do when the other in the room are in shock which of course everyone in the room, well, was in!
IDIOT!!!
Human resources at ABC got the call and all is apparently over.
One exec told Deadline.com’s Nellie Andreeva that Gordon is “an ass” and one person who contacted Nellie say that Gordon makes this kind of statement “on a daily basis.”
