Annie Frost and ‘Chase’ Returns
This one had some legs for a moment. Kellie Giddish is fantastic in her role as Houston U.S. Marshall Annie Frost. But cop shows should be cop shows. At least during season one.
For some reason this show didn’t catch on and we liked it. But then it got personal. Nothing good when a show in season one, especially a cop show, gets personal. As in bedroom scenes, interpersonal relationships between co-workers and sexual tension between main characters.
That’s what hurt Chase.
Well it’s returning for what may be its last go round beginning Saturday April 23rd on NBC. And it will air in the 8PM time slot for only five weeks.
Originally NBC saw the future in the show by originally ordering 22 episodes and cut that back to 18 in December after Chase showed limited promise.
Too bad. We really liked this one.
