90 More Episodes of ‘Are We There Yet’ Coming to TBS
TBS really likes this show. Why not. TBS has this programming deal with Tyler Perry that puts the network at no risk whatsoever. So after running 10 episodes of ‘Are We There Yet’ the network has decided to order up 90 more shows.
Yes that’s right 90 more episodes. Which would be unheard of in any other television world except for TBS. Tyler Perry, the producer genius of urban oriented movies and films already has a similar deal with TBS. And his ‘House of Payne’ and ‘Meet the Browns’ have been programmed on the network with similar 90 episode pickups to get up to a total of 100 episodes and move those shows in to syndication.
Ice Cube, who was in the movie version of ‘Are We There Yet,’ is executive producer of this TV version which also stars ex NFL jock Terry Crews and Essence Atkins. Ice also shows up at Terry’s bro during some episodes.
