So our peeps over at TV Week have always helped us show some great content from a video standpoint and they’ve done it again. Not sure if this if for real or not, though it surely does look it as some innocent moviegoers get the most horrible experience in their lives.
This is so for real.
Just imagine walking in to a movie theater full of about 150 white guys who look like they should be in an episode of Sons of Anarchy. Some of the couples just turn around and walk out while others stay no matter what the element in the gallery.
What’s funny is the one African American couple that basically says we paid for this movie and we’re here to stay. To hell with these crazy white boys. But this is one of the best commercials ever.
Watch and enjoy!

Cyber bullying is no joke. It actually sucks that kids these days are so lost in space that they have to resort to this type of activity. Personally I think, no matter what age, these cyber bullies should be put in prison. See if they survive the bullying once they get behind bars. Ask Amanda Knox. I’m sure she’s got some great stories about bullying in an Italian prison.
Girl Fight on Lifetime with James Tupper, Jodelle Ferland and Anne Heche looks at cyber bullying and how it effects these kids who get involved in the activity. It’s not pretty.
This is a blog story about both cyber bullying and the end of the Amanda Knox saga. And Lifetime cable network is highlighting cyber bullies and re-working the Amanda Knox story.
Let’s start with Girl Fight the new movie on Lifetime. Anne Heche stars in this project that looks at the life of 16 year old Haley Macklin (Jodelle Ferland) who wants to get in to the cool girl group but things go horribly wrong in her effort to fit in with them. She posts a negative message on a social networking site about the cool girls and the rush is on for payback on her comments. They beat her up with the goal of putting that whipping online but her parents and the law get involved.
Yes a typical Lifetime movie effort.
Heche plays the Mom (Melissa) and James Tupper plays Dad (Ray) in Girl Fight. Which of course turns in to a girl mess. It’s running on Lifetime now.
Hayden Panettiere and Paolo Romio in ‘Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy’
On the Amanda Knox story, there’s a re-edit in place. Now that she’s free after four years of being accused of murder, the Lifetime movie will need to put on a new ending. Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy will go back to the edit bay to put in the ending where she was set free. Those edits will air before and after the movie according to the Los Angeles Times.

A Monday night party!!! No more will you hear Hank Williams, Jr. open ESPN’s Monday Night Football games on the sports network anymore after this hillbilly made comments about President Obama comparing him to Hitler.
OK so people may not like President Obama but when you compare any President of human being to Hitler, well you’ve got to be a real flipping whack job.
Just my personal opinion. I’m sticking to it.
Hank Williams Jr. on 'FOX & Friends'
Hank Williams Jr. signature open to Monday Night Football is over. He will be receiving no more compensation from ESPN after his appearance on FOX & Friends (it’s always something related to FOX isn’t it?) where he said and I quote…well it’s probably better that you watch the YouTube video so that I don’t have to print it in this blog.
I try my best not to highlight too many idiots and morons on this blog.
“While Hank Williams Jr. is not an ESPN employee, we recognize that he is closely linked to our company through the open of Monday Night Football. We are extremely disappointed in his comments,” said ABC in a statement.
For now, the open was pulled for tonight’s broadcast but I hope ABC does the right thing and pulls his integration in the show completely. With a league employing 70% African American players, maybe it’s time for a new open. Great time, ABC, to exercise your out clause.
How stupid are these people over at FOX? I mean the guy who runs the company as in Rupert Murdoch is in trouble all over the globe and yet to have his tail handed to him by this government. And your network, once again, does the dumb thing and puts this hillbilly on the air?

So 700 people got arrested in New York over the weekend, protesting in the Wall Street section of the city because of how they’ve literally screwed up the economy. Countries like the United States keep bailing out big business and big business returns the favor by screwing over the very citizens who give their money to them through no taxation without representation thing.
OK I embellish. In fact I have no clue what that means but damn it sounded good,
Securities Trader Alessio Restani
Then comes this interview on the BBC. BBC New exactly. It was one of those financial shows that interviews top people in the financial industry, kind of like CNBC or FOX Business Channel, where they make comments about the current crisis over the world markets.
So here we have Alessio Restani. A independent trader somewhere who was a guest on the BBC chatting about the Greek bailout, yes another one of those tales of taking people’s tax money and now giving it to, well not a big business but a country.
What a world, ya think?
So if you really want to be depressed, take a look at the video. This guy Alessio admits that guys like him who are trading in the markets look forward to times like we are going through now. OK here’s one statement where he says “the governments don’t rule the world…Goldman Sachs rules the world.”
And that his only job as a trader is to make money off of the tough times we are experiencing.
The BBC announcers are pretty shocked. We say why? Alessio Restani is being truthful. There are many more lowlifes out there that think just like him. I guess I’m pretty amazed that the announcers were so amazed.
To be blunt, personally I don’t think people who host these business programs have a clue what’s going on in the real world when comments such as this. Again, and I think this is a personal statement as well, but I believe these TV people skew towards making us think things are so great in the real world.
They’re not.
Watch the video. At least Alessio is for real.

Well the top name on this list even surprised me. She’s one of the hottest brands on TV, has the biggest name in searches for Google or Yahoo and everyone wants to be like Kim. Yes Kim Kardashian has been voted the world’s “Most Annoying Celebrity.”
What does she win? OK what does she need, yes just about nothing.
Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian
Parade Magazine has named the reality personality (again I now call reality TV people “personalities” since calling them stars is one of America’s biggest shams) Number 1 on the list tracking 29% of the polling. And there are several other names that fit so perfectly on the list. Number 2 on the list is the outrageous Charlie Sheen pulling in 27% of the respondents voting.
Charlie Sheen with WBZ-FM's 'Toucher and Rich'
Who is Number 3? Snooki Polizzi of the MTV show Jersey Shore. Yes, that woman is annoying. Oh, by the way, so is Charlie Sheen, annoying that is. I’m still a bit closed on where I stand with Kim.
Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi
Oh yeah, back to the list. Number 4…Lindsay Lohan. Totaling annoying. 100%. She would have been at the top of my list.
Lindsay Lohan
Filling out the list at Number 5 is Donald Trump which he probably would have been in my top 1 or 2 as well.

Something’s gotta give over at CBS and their morning content. Lagging third behind the Today Show and Good Morning America, the Early Show on CBS has been nothing more than just filling airtime for the network.
Well that may change and it’s about time.
Rumors are flying all around New York that there are some big names on the list as the show searches for its soul. One is Charlie Rose, which certainly would be the next big CBS mistake which would fit in well with all of the mistakes this network has made when it comes to their news and entertainment content.
Two words. Katie Couric. Case closed.
MSNBC Live from Crenshaw High School - Rev. Al Sharpton, Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough
Now naming Charlie Rose to host their morning show will certainly do a lot for their aging demographic on that network. In other words. Charlie Rose, who built his brand on PBS, would bring in every person in America from 65 years of age to Happy Hollow retirement center in Pasadena to the graveyard.
Not a good move. But wait, there’s more.
The one that keeps us interested is the possibility that the MSNBC Morning Joe hosts would shift their brand over to CBS.
I say two words. Why not?
If George Stephanopolous can shift from politics to cooking segments why not Joe Scarborough and Mika Brezinski. Now that CBS has hired Morning Joe executive producer Chris Licht, rumors have been surfacing that he wants his creation to follow him from MSNBC over to CBS.
Problem is both Scarborough and Brezinski are locked in to contracts. But that doesn’t take them out of the picture. The talk of Charlie Rose going to CBS could be temporary. How about this scenario. Charlie Rose carries the show through the next general election is the key part of the story in the New York Post. That’s why CBS wants him. Because of his solid news experience. Then after the November general election, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brezinski take over.
Not a bad idea, eh?
Then Charlie Rose gets shifted over to 60 Minutes.
CBS needs help in the morning. There’s no question. Scott Pelley taking over the CBS Evening News was a brilliant move for the network that has lost its luster in the news division.

It will either be Showtime or Netflix. Well that’s what the chatter is about so far. But new options for Arrested Development could come in to play as the return of the very popular cult show is coming back to television.
Arrested Development aired on FOX from only three years but it was one of TV’s most creative shows which of course these days is as direct line to the cancellation bin. But the producers of Arrested Development are in conversation about bringing the show back to television.
“We’re all game,” said show creator Mitchell Hurwitz at an Arrested Development reunion gathering at the New Yorker Festival on Sunday. “We’ve been trying to put together this ambitious idea.”
Well it looks like the idea is coming to reality. There are 9 or 10 episodes that will be produced for the new look Arrested Development. The production on the new show is expected to get underway with the same cast as the original next summer. An Arrested Development movie is in the works as well yet no production date for that project.

…a bit more than the normal viewer can actually watch as the addition of many new quality shows on television this season is a bit much for any DVR.
I find my normal viewing patterns a little jumbled. Most DVR’s can only record two shows at one time but trying to keep up with the new shows and the returning programs is a challenge.
And I’m just talking about network television. Throw in shows like Sons of Anarchy on FX or Breaking Bad on AMC and the competition for what to record on my DVR gets a little overwhelming. And with American Horror Story about to launch on that FX, cable programming now is truly engaging as well.
Elisha Cuthbert in ABC's 'Happy Endings'
Take Mondays. CBS has a lineup that is extremely solid, throwing out 2 Broke Girls that is pretty lame. But following How I Met Your Mother is probably going to keep that show on the sked and with Two and a Half Men blowing up, Mike & Molly really hot followed by Hawaii Five-O, CBS has a strong Monday in prime-time.
NBC is in trouble on Monday nights. The Singoff is, well just another reality show and The Playboy Club is about to be canceled. Dancing With the Stars is hotter than ever and you can’t beat the quality of Castle. FOX is key with Terra Nova which with so much hype they have to keep that show on the schedule followed by House and the return of that show Monday night.
Tuesday is NCIS Tuesday on CBS. Both the single four letters and Los Angeles are monsters. And Poppy Montgomery’s Unforgettable has some legs. NBC still has a strong foundation with Biggest Loser and Parenthood is always entertaining. I just love seeing a show with people that have more problems than me.
ABC is still Dancing With the Stars followed by Body of Proof which is weak but adequate. Not a bad Tuesday.
Wednesday is Survivor, Criminal Minds and CSI which is a really strong lineup on CBS. You can contact the canceled bin over at NBC for Up All Night and Free Agents. Both shows suck. But Harry’s Law is fantastic and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is totally fresh with Danny Pino and Kelli Giddish joining the cast.
ABC owns comedy Wednesdays with The Middle, the new Suburgatory which is an awesome new comedy plus the return of Modern Family and Happy Endings. You can’t beat that schedule for comedy on ABC and toss in the relatively entertaining Revenge at 10PM and that brings a solid night for the network.
FOX has The X Factor which is pretty awful but still wins for the night on that network. Raising Hope,is certainly is a doable comedy
Thursday with the solid The Big Bang Theory, the new How to Be a Gentleman, Person of Interest which is simply awesome and the always strong The Mentalist and the DVR by this day is pretty full. NBC has probably its best night with The Office and a new look there. You can’t beat Whitney, the best new comedy on TV followed by the Thursday night FOX show New Girl and Maria Bello’s Prime Suspect that held its own in content during week two.
You see all of this great TV content. And we haven’t even hit Friday with another strong new entry in A Gifted Man.
Wow!
It really is hard to keep up. Is there too much for one person to watch, I think yes. A bit over-board but you know it’s kinda fun watching great TV once again. The canceled bin has a few definitely programs but this will be one of those TV seasons where any cancellations beyond the expected could really put viewers in a bad mood.
But I must say, once again, the best TV season in years.

We see these things on episodes of Law & Order. A producer who really wants to make his or her bones by stepping well across the line. Throw in a stupid kid with the brain power of a mouse and you only get tragedy.
Anderson Cooper and Nene Leakes
Gawker.com reports that a teenager was asked by a producer for the Anderson Cooper daytime talk show to perform and record some of his antics on a skateboard. The show apparently wanted to do a segment on the “teenage mind” but instead of asking the kid to maybe read a book, the producer pushed the skateboarder jump on the four-wheeler to do some tricks.
The experience did not go very well.
The teenager is now listed in a coma after sustaining a serious head injury. Can you say the words lawsuit somewhere in this paragraph? Film “the crazy stuff you do” was how Gawker.com puts the request from the Anderson Cooper show.
The kid actually was scheduled to be on the show when producers learned of his accident. They issued a statement saying “We are concerned about him and are thinking about him and his family.”
Yeah right!
Anderson Cooper stated on this incident “I take this situation seriously.”
Gotta say as much as there is responsibility on the show and their zeal to create engaging content, responsibility also lies on the kid and the parents. In other words, read a book.

This show keeps getting better and better. This without question is television’s best new program. OK for women. TV’s best new program for dudes is Jim Cavaziel’s Prime Suspect. But A Gifted Man on CBS is worth staying home on Friday night. In a television season that without question is the best for new shows in I can’t recall how many years, A Gifted Man is quality TV at its best and now Eriq La Salle is slated to join the show.
'The Game' and 'Burn Notice's Coby Bell with Eriq La Salle
Eriq La Salle will be in recurring episodes of A Gifted Man as medical investigator Evan Morrison. Yes, Eriq will be playing a doctor one more time after his long time stint on E.R.
The concept of A Gifted Man pits Patrick Wilson who plays Dr. Michael Hope who gets a visit from his ex-wife who passed away after being hit by a car yet re-appears as a ghost who gets him to change his self centered life.
And the concept works extremely well. Adding Eriq La Salle can only enhance this solid show. A Gifted Man, Friday nights at 8PM on CBS.
