Adam Lambert’s love life is apparently like all of ours, according to his boyfriend. The former American Idol runner boy toy Sauli Koskinen, who himself did a stint as a contestant on the Finnish version of Big Brother, blogged “Love is not easy…but it lasts,” forever” after he and Adam Lambert got busted for brawling in and outside a club in Finland.
Adam Lambert, Runner Up for FOX TV's 'American Idol'
Um maybe Sauli needs a Dr. Phil intervention. Love is definitely not easy and certainly does not last forever but truly love is not something that ends in a fight inside and outside a club leading to beating up the people who tried to break up the fight between the couple.
Calling Dr. Phil!!!Calling Dr. Phil!!!
The couple had a lover’s spat which led to both being taken in to custody for the fight between them and what took place when others tried to step in and stop the melee. Unfortunately that melee led to another melee which included those men and women who wear official governmental authority gear with badges attached and guns that fire bullets.
Those are the people, by the way, that most of us tend to avoid.
Both were jammed up for multiple assaults, questioned and released.
Well I’ve written about this nightmare of an NBA player. Kris Humphries. And he brought all of this on himself. He really did.
No one ever heard of Kris Humphries until he started dating then marrying then divorcing Kim Kardashian. And I’m a huge NBA fan and I never heard of the guy. He’s no Lamar Odom in any way. Personally I think he’s a big, dumb, stupid jock with so-so talent. Seems a lot of people agree with me on that statement.
Forbes Magazine lists Kris Humphries as the number 1 most disliked player in the National Basketball Association. He beats out everyone on the “we hate you” list and the 72 day marriage to Kim Kardashian certainly contributes to the fans who gave him that top ranking.
Forbes quotes a Nielsen sports executive Stephen Master saying “he’s been on the cover of five magazine covers, all in a negative light.”
Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries - Khloe Kardashian's 27th Birthday Celebration at Chateau Nightclub in Las Vegas
I just think he’s big and dumb. Really anyone that would marry any female that has a sex tape all over the internet performing an oral act on any person is not the one you want to bring home for Christmas dinner. And then the big and dumb athlete admits he never saw the video before he married her.
Is he really that stupid? Everybody saw that video. I got it downloaded and on DVD.
LeBron James comes in at number 2 most disliked player in the NBA followed by Kobe Bryant.
And now that Kris Humphries is a member of the New Jersey Nets it’s not getting any better for his personal brand. The only signed him to a one year contract for $8,000,000 which is nothing to laugh at but it’s only one year. Most of that will probably have to go to a PR firm to re-make his image.
But check out the video. It doesn’t get any better for Kris Humphries. He got booed loudly at the Nets preseason game with the New York Knicks a Madison Square Garden. After being announced by the TV announcer Mike Breen the fans there gave it to him.
And well deserved. Mike Breen said “You feel bad for the young man,” in a quote from SportGrid.com.
Feel bad? Are you kidding me. He brought it all on himself. He married the wrong Kardashian. Or maybe he shouldn’t have put his personal self on the firing line by getting integrated in that reality TV crap while being an active player. That decision never has a happy ending. Never.
You know you want to cut this guy a break but he’s nothing more than a big, dumb stupid jock.
Sometimes when it’s time to go it’s time to go. I know the headline is a bit silly and stupid when a big time name at the so-called tiffany news network says goodbye to the big city and moves to a market the size of Cleveland. You might say to a guy like Russ Mitchell just hang in there, your time to anchor the CBS Evening News or work on a regular basis as a full time correspondent for a show like 60 Minutes will come.
Just hang in there they say. Yeah, that’s typical of CBS.
Russ Mitchell is leaving CBS News and headed back to local television as the new 6PM and 11PM anchor at WKYC in Cleveland.
Whaaaaat!!!!
Yes WKYC in Cleveland. Back to local television news. Can you imagine? Yes I can.
Russ Mitchell (CBS)
When the time comes and passes you by it’s time to go. Clearly Russ Mitchell is a solid on-air news personality. Solid. Not the type of guy that’s going to overwhelm you but a true overly competent, qualified news person all around. But working for CBS News and CBS in general can be challenging, especially for someone of his color.
It just doesn’t work at CBS. If you think the mentality of having an anchor of color in the big chair on television is the first question asked when making that decision, well it is. It truly is.
Don’t let anyone fool you. What you think of changes in the culture of persons of color on television especially in news at CBS, well think of the 1970′s when it comes to this network.
Just wait your time will come. Russ Mitchell was with CBS News for 20 years. He co-hosts the CBS Early Show on Saturday mornings and the CBS Evening News on Sunday nights. But the goal of getting the anchor chair after Dan Rather left and Katie Couric departed never happened for Russ Mitchell.
The Katie Couric experiment worked really well didn’t it? Scott Pelley got the gig as anchor of the CBS Evening News after Katie came to the realization that she was like a Ku Klux Klan member trying to get a license to march in Inglewood, California. Not gonna work out. But more perfect for a daytime talk program which launches for Katie in fall 2012.
But no go for Russ Mitchell after Dan Rather or Katie Couric. Now here’s the reality. And we’re not talking Kardashians here. The CBS Evening News ranks third behind Nightly News on NBC and World News Tonight on ABC. Maybe doing something with someone like Russ Mitchell, after multiple years of failure in the evening news daypart, would have been a good thing.
But your time will come Russ Mitchell.
Screw you guys is really what Russ is saying by taking his show on the road to Cleveland. Sometimes getting out of the rat race especially when the race is stacked against you is the best thing for your health and career.
I know. I used to work for CBS.
Just wait Rick. Your time will come.
Nope, can’t wait and can’t wait to move on. After goals of growing through the company and being passed over for the gig in CBS in Tampa or told not to pitch other positions in the company there’s one thing you learn. And Russ Mitchell learned it as I did. There’s life after CBS.
Time to go.
The problem with those in the executive suite at most broadcast companies is simple. They’re afraid of diversity. There so far behind reality of the new world order. NBC is learning this with the Comcast merger and their terrific effort at increasing diversity behind the scenes and on-air. Just look at the Today Show with the plethora of new faces of color that are now talking heads instead of the same old same old regulars that are pretty stale and boring. New faces were needed and new faces they got. An effort was clearly made by NBC to freshen up a audience eroding program and hiring people that looked like the producers of that show was no longer the edict handed down by the new owners at Comcast.
Russ Mitchell deserved better. A lot better at CBS. But being in his position before at CBS it was a personal blessing to make the decision to move on as Russ is doing. Some may think it’s a step back. I can clearly say this is not a mistake att all. He’ll be happier and healthier. After making my move from CBS, I surely am.
I will appreciate my days at the Columbia Broadcasting System, no doubt. Those CBS letters on my resume got me in a lot of doors. But at some point you find yourself in a much better position by leaving rather than hanging in there for 20 years.
Good luck Russ. Cleveland is a nice city. Really nice.

OK so I missed this one live as I do watch the KTLA Morning News program with Chris Schauble and Megan Henderson, Henry DiCarlo with weather and a host of of slightly twisted on air personalities. I say slightly twisted because every once in a while there’s a bit of tension that happens to be real among the crew that includes Ginger Chan doing the traffic, Sam Rubin with useless stories on the Kardashians leading to the carnival that is probably the best news broadcast in the morning here in Los Angeles.
Things got a bit testy over the holiday season during a recent broadcast. Henry DiCarlo was out in the field doing an interview which would conclude with his weather forecast but clearly was told to dump the forecast and send it back to the studio.
He was a bit miffed. OK let’s be real he was pretty pissed. And it showed on the air.
KTLA Weather Anchor Henry DiCarlo
Now what normally happens at most news stations is the anchors take back the broadcast and everything moves on. Not at KTLA. Chris Schauble, who joined KTLA after his historic WTF moment in rival KNBC, took to humor after Henry DiCarlo’s meltdown. I don’t think Henry was in a humorous mood if you look at the expression on his face while walking away from the camera.
This is funny. I love this show. And the whole crew. But this is a true on-air meltdown. So much that Ginger Chan had to do the weather plus traffic as Henry DiCarlo is still missing from the broadcast.
Hey Henry, I do like you but maybe had you not taken 30 seconds for an editorial reply to your shortened weather report you could have actually done the weather forecast.
Plus it’s live TV Henry. No disrespect to you bro, but shit happens.
What’s that line one big time agent uses when it comes to on-air people…”you can’t control talent.”
This is why I couldn’t be in the advertising world. I have a cold side, one that kinda rips your heart out when people do dumb things. And this was one of those dumb things by a dumb Federal Express employee that has taken this major international delivery service and has shifted many users over to their competitors.
All because of one dumb ass delivery person. From FedEx. And guess what? FedEx needs to review the company’s hiring practices because I even have a story about a delivery guy who lied to my face. Right to my face. He was delivering a package to a neighboring office in my building and his intended customer was not there and needed to sign for the package. The delivery person saw me going in to my suite and asked me to take the package telling me that the person in the suite for the delivery would be back in a minute.
I didn’t see that person in a minute or in 48 hours. Not for two days. The FedEx delivery person simply lied.
Which leads us to this video. Making rounds on the web. Over a million hits so far with a lot more to come. Of another dumb ass FedEx delivery person creating content for the next commercial for UPS or the United Postal Service. If I was the ad agency for UPS or USPS I would spend a couple of million bucks and run this video with adjoining service information in a positive light about the difference between FedEx delivery people and either aforementioned service. Run it in the SuperBowl.
But that’s just me. Cause I’m one cold son of a you know what.
Bottom line this shows the laziness of some FedEx delivery employees. This is awful. And I would take advantage of this immediately.
By the way the package was a computer monitor that had to be returned because it was completely destroyed by this loser of an employee that I hope was fired by Federal Express.
Every once in a while I have to chat about good television. With the growth of reality television really good, quality television programs don’t get the juice they deserve yet when a good episode on TV comes along I like to talk about them.
Let’s talk about the more recent episode of The Closer. The episode titled Road Block. The open, fantastic. The following 55 minutes even better. The writing, the acting superb.
Kyra Sedgwick and Jon Tenney, 'The Closer'
The wife of a Los Angeles police commissioner gets drunk and runs over a UCLA student on a motorcycle. The driver played by Elizabeth Warren tries to get herself out of a DUI by leaving the accident scene and lying that her car was stolen. But the first few minutes of the episode was an clear example great television.
Check out Road Block. It’s the next to last episode of The Closer which heads to the canceled bin unfortunately because The Closer is really good content on television. Kyra Sedgwick is awesome and the cast just gets better and better with each successive season and episode. By the way Elizabeth Warren is fantastic. But what an episode of quality TV.
I will miss The Closer.
Then one of TV’s most underrated actors in Treat Williams. Truly underrated. On Law & Order: Special Victims Unit he could have performed no better. An ex quarterback who got bonk, bonk, bonked in the head too many times which led him to what football players get after a career in pro football. Memory loss. His performance was without question perfection. I’ve always liked Treat Williams. Enjoyed his first exposure to me in Prince of the City, a film in 1981 where he starred as a Detective in the NYPD who turned against his brothers on the force. An amazing movie.
Treat Williams in Lifetime's 'Against The Wall'
But his performance in the Spiraling Down episode of Law & Order: SVU was Treat Williams at his best. The ending of this episode is shocking yet Treat Williams at his best.
No question this writer says catch The Closer this week in repeats on TNT. Really worth an hour of your time. And find Spiraling Down on Law & Order: SVU somewhere. Worth the hour as well.
You know it’s energizing to talk about good television. It really is.
Yeah that comment that Joy Behar made about her days in radio in New York is how you fire an on air employee. You tell them on Friday at 5PM they’re fired, Friday at 5:01PM they have to out of the building.
Gone. Hasta la vista baby you will never turn on a microphone in this radio station ever again.
Never let talent stay on the air with a microphone and an audience. Especially a whiner like Joy Behar. God who the hell is running Headline NewsDonald Duck?
'The View's Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Barbara Walters and Sherri Shepherd
NBC learned really well after the Conan O’Brien/Jay Leno debacle after that network made the mistake of leaving Conan on the air as host of the Tonight Show as Jay’s 10 PM show got canceled. But it certainly was no where near as brutal as what Behar did to HLN.
Behar denies having any part of what Denis Leary, Whoopi Goldberg or Jane Fonda said as guests during Behar’s ratings challenged show last week. And Behar made no friends in the media business by being part of the negative comments toward HLN during her last week on the air.
Most talent understands the game. Surely HLN was taken back after what happened last week. Listen TV shows get canceled every day. Every day there’s a show that’s on the bubble of being sent to the cancellation bin. That’s just the business. It’s tough but if you don’t pull in viewers, your show gets canceled. But letting her stay on the air to finish out her talk program was a sign of respect for Joy Behar. And she did nothing more than diss. HLN. Behar told the New York Times “I was fired at WABC Radio…and they told me ‘don’t come back tomorrow.’”
That’s the way they did it in radio. And they should have known to do the same with Joy Behar. She just seems like a bitchy, whiny, crabby person on the air so what would HLN expect to happen?
From Denis Leary, “Why are they cancelling you?” Well, look at the ratings pal.
From Whoopi Goldberg, “I don’t know what HLN is thinking!” Um they are thinking that ratings should bring in enough ad revenue to surpass the cost of Joy Behar’s salary along with the cost of producing the show. That’s what HLN is thinking Whoopi. Let those ratings go down on The View and you along with Joy could be looking for work.
From Jane Fonda, “If Ted were still here, you’d still be on.” Speaking of Ted Turner, well Janey your ex-husband is no longer running Headline News so why don’t you just go demonstrate against something!
Joy is apparently pitching her show to other networks but this is one of those things that make TV executives go “hmmmmm….hmmmmmmm…”
No one in the media world wants a whiny, bitchy, crabby piece of talent added to their network. The show was just a show. Nothing out of the ordinary, just another show. But you go out with grace as best you can. It’s an ego depression no doubt. But if you’re talent you know, someday, any day soon, you could be fired.
You don’t enlist your entertainment friends to come on to offer support. That’s what the kids call cheesy and what the pros call unprofessional. Bottom line Joy, no network will want to work with you. Not after this type of activity.
But Donald Duck should learn from radio executives. Never keep talent on the air that you just fired. Never.
Great video here. And surely why Barbra Walters over at ABC News is a good journalist and won’t be getting any invitations to a holiday party hosted by any of the Kardashians. Not after this interview which you can scope below. Walters pretty much say to the three sisters and their mother that they have no talent.
Wow!
Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian
And the ladies handle it as if Barbra Walters is interviewing a high ranking official in the Obama White House. She even brings up the famous Kim Kardashian tape with Ray J during the interview and Kim along with mom handle it perfectly for people who’s lives we like to integrate ourselves in to when watching them on E!.
Never ever think Barbra Walters is one of those morning show chatters who plays it nice and says all the right things to make sure they get first TV for the next interview. Barbra don’t play as they say. Watch it. As described on one blog it’s “classic.”
“Work it girl” is what they say at cross-dressing parties all across America. So for those of us who don’t watch The Maury Show on daytime television. cross-dressing or those in the transgender community involve men who like to wear women’s clothing and women who like to gear themselves up as men.
Amaury Nolasco as a Guy
Amaury Nolasco Crossdressing as a Woman
In the GLBT community it’s the “T” in those four letters that means transgender. And ABC Television is launching a show called Work It which features two guys who can’t get jobs as men so cross dress as women.
Uh oh and no way is GLAAD letting ABC put this show on the air without getting the group’s two cents in on the content of the show and how it affects the Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual and Transgender community which is where you get the four letters GLBT.
Ben Koldyke as a Guy
Ben Koldyke as a Woman
The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation says “timing couldn’t be worse for a show based on the notion that men dressed as women is inherently funny.”
ABC had no comment according to a story in Entertainment Weekly. Not only is GLAAD mad but the Human Rights Campaign has started a write-in effort to stop the show from airing on ABC. And three other groups have joined in the protest against Work It as well. The network has is set as a mid-season replacement series and has not decided to launch the series on January 3rd. ABC Television had no comment on the backlash from Work It‘s content.
The pictures are of the talent in real life then in cross-dressing gear.

This is one of those things that would have been funny had no one been hurt. But this is not funny. This is why Judge Judy is in business because there will lawsuits a comin’ as they say since this video is more than enough evidence to make the Dekaney High School football program in Texas look at their liability policy to find out exactly what coverage they have and how much they’ll have to shell out over and above those limits.
After a high school championship game a four wheel cart got loose. Yes one of those golf carts that they use to pick up cones on the football field at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas. Well one of those cones fell and his the accelerator causing to run wildly over the football field plowing in to several coaches and others on the field.
This is a tough video to watch so if you don’t like reality television at it’s worst don’t look at this one. It’s not funny. Not at all.
