When’s the last time they had a song out that got play on the radio? Well it looks like 2008 when they released a CD that was only distributed in Japan.
Whaaaat!!!
So with limited success in the music business K-Ci and Jojo are putting their talents together to do a new show on TV One. It’s call ‘K-Ci and Jojo… Come Clean’ as they take a 9 episode journey to clean themselves up from whatever demons are haunting them at this time.
Guess they waited until they got a TV deal to ‘come clean.’ OK here’s another one. The demons they have haunting them now is the lack of a decent record deal.
OK that’s all for folks. Show premieres in the fall.
The number 1 TV morning show has Jenna Bush. She’s President George Bush’s, the second one, daughter who does special hits on ‘The Today Show.’ Quite frankly when she’s on it’s time to check out ‘The Early Show’ to see what they’re up to or flip on ‘Good Morning America’ and Stephanopoulos. It’s pretty awful. Now Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown’s kid Ayla will be a contributor on that ‘Early’ show doing segments on the youth audience.
Ayla Brown, Scott’s Kid…
What youth audience? What part of ‘youth’ would watch any of these morning shows?
Well Ayla has been in front of the camera before. She was a semifinalist on ’American Idol’ and gets her stuff from her mom who is a reporter for a local TV station in Boston.
All right ABC; let’s start looking at Sasha and Malia. Maybe they can do stories on tweens.
OK this is not TMZ, ahhight!! When we say that Debra Winger is going ‘In Treatment’ we mean the show on HBO not something that would be a lead story on Extra.
She’ll be a patient of someone that should be a patient on that show. Gabriel Byrne is Dr. Paul Weston who sits and makes watching people ‘in treatment’ well very cool. It’s pretty real and deep stuff, not like what you would see on Dr. Phil or Maury.
Maury?
OK that may be a bit much.
But Winger will sit on the couch and tell all of her little secrets to Byrne. She’s not done a lot with one Law & Order episode this year, a movie back in 2008 but more know for ‘An Officer and a Gentleman’ and ‘Terms of Endearment.’ And be a mom to her two boys.
Big role for Katie. Really big. And guess who gets to play President John F. Kennedy in this new project? Greg Kinnear. Yeah, we see both as a fit.
Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise...
Well ’24′ executive producer Joel Surnow has missed a beat after the cancellation of that FOX show as he will lead the charge in putting together what could prove to be an amazing series on History. As long as Jack Bauer doesn’t pop up and start screaming at President Kennedy this will be a monster for this cable network.
Barry Pepper from ‘Saving Private Ryan’ is cast in the Bobby Kennedy role and Tom Wilkinson gets to play Joseph Kennedy in the 8 hour production which will air in 2011.
Wow this is the first time we did a story on somebody winning the lottery. Never thought that would happen but here we go. With her husband out of work, a woman who works at NBC4 in Los Angeles just picked up what everyone playing Mega Millions wanted. $266 million bucks was up for grabs and a difference in dinner selection made this woman a multi millionaire.
NBC4 Los Angeles is not releasing her name or what she does at the television station. But they went out for dinner. She wanted Kentucky Fried Chicken and he wanted Hawaiian Barbecue. Looks like his grub was the smart move of the evening. They went to dinner at L & I Hawaiian Barbecue in an area known as Pico Rivera in East LA and picked up the ticket at that restaurant on the way home.
Hours later they will multimillionaires. Good for them.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus and 'Seinfeld' creator Larry David...
There’s a Governor in Arizona that would ask for her papers. Hey Julia Luis Dreyfus? No it’s Julia Louis-Dreyfus moron.
Not!
From ‘Saturday Night Live’ to ‘Seinfeld’ and now on ‘The New Adventures of Old Christine’ right now on CBS and maybe headed to ABC, you would think someone would know how to spell her name, right?
After making her way over to Hollywood Boulevard’s world famous ‘Hollywood Walk of Fame’ Julia Louis-Dreyfus got her star and there’s someone at the HOF office that might be headed back to school to take more spelling courses.
They spelled her name wrong on the star.
There’s an ‘o’ in Louis. It’s not spelled Luis. We just changed her nationality in one missed letter. Julia joked about it saying “Right when you think you’ve made it, you get knocked down.”
Charlie Sheen seems to be doing a good job at it as if there’s anything he’s good at right now. Steve Carell could be doing the same thing using a tactic that works for most but not for many. The main man on NBC’s Thursday night series has told BBC Radio that when his contract goes away after next season that he’s not going back to ‘The Office.’
We want to be able to say that but of course most of us have to win Mega Millions to do so.
When asked on BBC Radio if he would stay on longer Carell said “I don’t think so..that will probably be my last year.”
So we wait and see if NBC forks up the cash to keep him and with the network slowly inching upward letting Carell go would be a ‘career ender’ for certain people at NBC.
Many of us have never heard of ‘Epix’ the premium cable channel. Well knowledge of the fledgling network was given a huge boost by one of the film industry’s major players as Oliver Stone has signed on to create content for Epix.
The first project from the Oscar winning producer is a series called ‘Still Holding’ from writer Bruce Wagner who will work on the project with Stone. Both worked together on the mini-series ‘Wild Palms’ back in 1993 and Kathryn Bigelow was the director on that program which ran on ABC.
Oliver Stone won three Oscars for ‘Midnight Express’, ‘Platoon’ and ‘Born on the Fourth of July.’
This is going to make things a lot easier for people who can’t show up at a certain location to audition for any show. Especially reality shows. NBC’s ‘America’s Got Talent’ is hooking up with social networking monster YouTube. Contestants can now put together a video of their ‘talent’ and producers will then put 40 of the best for viewers to vote to bring that number down to 12 that will actually be on the show.
You can go on the site now and do what you need to create an audition starting now. Here’s the link:
Also with David Hasselhoff leaving ‘America’s Got Talent’ there’s a new judge by the name of Howie Mandel sitting in on the new set of shows which begin on June 1st.
Well this might be a good move for the guy who gave us the ‘CSI’ trilogy and ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ plus a whole heck of a lot more. ‘Miami Medical’ on CBS is a flop but that hasn’t stopped the very cool Jerry Bruckheimer from increasing his load in reality TV.
The man who created ‘The Amazing Race’ is putting together a show called ‘Catch Me’ for ABC. Actual program specifics are not know at this time but sideliners say that it could have some of the same elements as ‘Amazing Race.’ There looks to be two person teams similar to ‘Race’ but other than that there’s nada on the show.
After ‘Miami Medical’ it’s a good move by Bruck to pass on the drama stuff and look at increasing the reality fare as network TV seems to do a lot better with dumbing down content to their viewers.
