Well it depends on which web site you refer to but the New York Post, TMZ.com and E! are saying yes.  Yes Snooki is knocked up by her boyfriend Jionni LaValle. And she’s three months along the way according to reports.  She’s denied it once, twice and on and on, even on Good Morning America.  But the word is out that MTV is crapping in their shorts because they have no clue what to do if their most important show is in jeopardy because their most important cast member on Jersey Shore is  expecting.

No need to worry about that Maury episode though.  As said she’s confirmed the other half of Jionni and the boyfriend is the baby daddy.  So “you are the father” is 100% confirmed, no screaming and yelling, no security keeping people in separate areas on stage, no sexy decoys just a real life new kid on the Snookie block.

Ryan Seacrest, we all love Ryan Seacrest.  We really do.  But that Sacha Baron Cohen dude is even funnier.  As much as Ryan is cool who wouldn’t want to dump ashes on his suit.  Yeah it was like a $5000 suit and it’s full of Kim Jong Il ashes and most guys laughed like there was no tomorrow.  It was a funny video that you can watch here.  Poor Ryan.

"Today" show co-host Matt Lauer with Lindsay Lohan - Airing Thursday, March 1

Well this morning we got a chance to see the new Lindsay Lohan.  If that’s what you want to call her the new look Lindsay, all cleaned up and ready to go hang out right?

Nope.

Matt Lauer, co-host of NBC’s Today Show, had an earlier chance to interview the troubled actress but the dollars and sense did not add up.  And we do mean sense because first off Lindsay don’t work for cents and second when Matt flew all the way to California to do a personal sit-down with Lindsay Lohan she pretty much had no sense and blew him off.

This morning on the Today ShowMatt Lauer previewed tomorrow’s full interview with Lindsay Lohan.  And you’ll get a chance to see why you don’t want your kids doing drugs.  “Just Say No” the campaign still says and you certainly don’t want to watch this because what’s left of Lindsay Lohan’s focus is evident during the short segment aired today on the Today Show.

Do you remember Versus?  Yeah, Versus, the network that no one ever heard of before NBC Sports decided to drop that really dumb name and turn it in to something a lot smarter for most sports fans to remember.  It’s the new NBC Sports Network which finally is getting some great content instead of running a lot of regular season NHL games that nobody cares about.

Yeah, that network.

NBC Sports Network is launching the new Bob Costas interview show Costas Tonight this coming Thursday as the venerable sports talk host gets to sit down with big time names all across the genre.  His first show will feature content that the network currently has a multi-year relationship, that being the NHL as Commisionner Gary Bettman sits for a chat with Costas about issues in the league.

Also on the show is NBA Commissioner David Stern who seems to have a lot more interesting and wide ranging problems starting with the success and Jeremy Lin of the New York Knicks.  And why certain sports announcers on NBA related networks can’t seem to stop finding ways to create racially motivated content on his Asian roots.  Yeah, he’s from Palo Alto, California, went to Harvard and is smarter than most announcers in the NBA yet still can’t get props from people who might support the Rick Santorum version of higher education.

Finally boxer Floyd Mayweather gets a sitdown with Bob Costas.  Costas Tonight premieres Thursday March 1st at 8PM Eastern with repeats throughout the network.

Lucy Lawless

Anyway Lucy Lawless, star of the weekend show Xena, Princess Warrior, was busted while taking place in a Greenpeace protest in New Zealand after boarding an oil rig set to go do some oil drilling in the Arctic.  Lawless, along with some other protestors, scaled an almost 200 foot drilling tower to protest the future of that rig creating a four day occupation of the operation.

New Zealand authorities did not see the value in their protest and took them in to custody.

Now normally putting cuffs on Lucy Lawless, who also played part in the Spartacus series on Starz, might seem like a good thing.  But her integration in the protest was no fun as the cuffs were place on her by guys in blue uniforms, wearing a badge and carrying a gun.

Yeah, those are several things most of us ignore.

So every time we do a story about the Oscar event people say “you’re at TV blog” and they are pretty much correct on all accounts but we generally tend to focus on the TV people at these events.

So we and a lot of other people were focused on J-Lo, the woman in the dress that was absolutely stunning.  I’m a guy and that was the hottest dress on any female person at the awards last night.  But I have to admit that I’m not a big movie going person and usually wait for them to show up on cable rather than pay like $40 on a Saturday night to take the girlfriend out for a nice movie.  Naaaah!  I’d rather spend the $40 bucks on a scotch, rocks in the start of much better evening than sitting in some seat that has been consumed by everyone’s but I don’t want to put mine in to so now you know why my Match.com subscription keeps on and on and on.

In the meantime let’s talk about J-Lo and the nipple malfunction, er, ah wardrobe malfunction that everyone is chatting about today.  Yes she seemed unaware that a bit of darker skin was showing outside of the covering of her left breast and the media world, including these two dingbats in the YouTube video below, just cant seem to bring themselves to the realization that J-Lo may have shown more than she wanted.

So to be quite honest I never put the skates on to play any hockey as a kid.  Even as a teenager the thought of playing hockey was just not on the list for a black kid from West Philly.  It was basketball and baseball, football in grade school but “hell no, won’t go” to play hockey.  Not the sport for me.

If you’re the parent of a child who is interested in lacing up the skates, play this video and you will change your mind about dropping little Tommy over at the ice skating rink.  In fact you will probably do better letting him know that figure skating is a better sport for him.  Even fathers, who sometimes think that figure skating is for girls will agree.  No way Tommy is playing hockey.

“Chris Neil absolutely unloads on Johnny Boychuk,” said the announcer who was calling the game between the Ottawa Senators and the Boston Bruins.  Um, I have to say this hit was even worse.  I’ve seen football games where there weren’t any more brutal hits than this one.

Well here we go.  In one of the year’s big time trials that will take place in Mexico and that has the Los Angeles area picking sides, the PR effort for Bruce Beresford-Redman has begun.  Tonight the CBS news magazine program 48 Hours sits down with the murder suspect in a one on one interview where he claims his innocence in the death of his wife Monica Burgos, whose body was found beaten and naked in a sewer in Cancun.

Bruce Beresford-Redman was extradited back to Mexico after fleeing that country following his wife’s death.  Now he is about to stand trial for his wife’s murder and faces 40 years of prison if he is convicted.

“I didn’t kill my wife…I really didn’t,” Beresford-Redman told 48 Hours.  “Please look at the evidence,” he continued during his chat with the CBS show which airs tonight at 10.  “Or in this case, the complete lack of evidence.”

Police in Mexico say Beresford-Redman and his wife were in Cancun for vacation and got in to a violent argument which led to her demise.  “I don’t know if Monica’s killers will ever be caught,” said Beresford Redman when asked about where the case would go should he be found innocent of her murder.

Bruce Beresford-Redman produced the CBS reality show Survivor and was also one of the creators of the MTV show Pimp My Ride.

You know certain people really need help.  You would expect comments from radio station KKK in Mississippi or Alabama but you sure would not expect to hear the sick, racist line over and over again from ESPN or from Jeremy Lin’s own broadcasting team.

Common sense no longer exists in America.  People just say things and seem not ready to understand the ramifications of their constant ignorance and idiocy.  Just makes things pretty clear and I will always say without any foundation needed that America is full of a lot of really stupid people.

The racist morons in broadcasting keep coming out in droves like New York Knick fans at Madison Square Garden as the NBA features its biggest and baddest new star in Jeremy Lin.

But idiots prevail and more idiots to come obviously.  First we have ESPN with a history of moronic activity that all you need do is search ESPN on this site and there’s enough drama than a Telemundo telenova.  Now we have the home team, an announcer for the New York Knicks, using the same phrase used by the mental midgets over at ESPN.  Spero Dedes, whoever that is because he will probably be out of work soon, used the same phrase “chink in the armor” that was used by the losers over at ESPN.

When will it ever end?  Really, when will it ever end?

“I am deeply sorry that my unfortunate words offended anyone,” said Spero Dedes after repeating the same line that got a loser over at ESPN fired.  “I apologized to Jeremy,” he continued.

OK so we have the ghetto rats at VH1′s Basketball Wives.  The trailer garbage from Bravo’s Real Housewives of New Jersey.  Then you’ve got Snookie and her pals at MTV’s Jersey Shore, we have that new show Mob Wives that burning up the cable TV screen so why not take us back, back, back to the 70′s disco music era with Brooklyn 11233?

Yes Brooklyn 11233 is the new entry in to the reality TV phase as Oxygen plans on launching the show set in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn, New York.

The reason for the zip code?  Well John Travolta and Saturday Night Fever, the 1977 movie, was set in the same neighborhood as Brooklyn 11233.

What’s it about?  Two women in Brooklyn who have issues of course.  Yeah that was a dumb question wasn’t it?  “Tearing their circle of friends apart,” is how the network describes Brooklyn 11233 which launches on Oxygen on March 26th at 11PM.

Oh this one surely is going to be fun.  And I want these women in an alley with me when I need some backup.  Or when I need to turn and run.  As I always say I’m a runner, not a fighter.
