So Jeff Rossen has now be given a big gig at NBC News and he sure deserves it.  A couple of months ago Jeff Rossen did a report on the Today Show which featured unfortunately one of my clients.  You just gotta cringe when this guy is in the room interviewing you and quite frankly Jeff Rossen does one heck of a job in exposing the scum of the earth.

I think I’m going to send him the pieces of crap over at Mongo Rewards or Money on the Go.  I get emails from people who have been screwed by the slime at Mongo Rewards or Money on the Go who take advantage of people who are in need of quick cash so the low-lifes over at Mongo Rewards or Money on the Go.

Rossen Reports will be a new feature that will air on the Today Show and on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams and the new group will use the “hidden camera” approach to prevent the scum like Mongo Rewards or Money on the Go from ripping people off.

This is a real good move because in this tough economy people will do or try anything for a few dollars and to stop people like Mongo Rewards or Money on the Go from stealing money from consumers is a good thing.

“With unmatched passion and curiosity, Jeff continues to find the new story angle that keeps viewers informed,” said Today Show executive producer Jim Bell.

Rossen has grabbed two Emmys for his work at NBC for his investigative work.

Well this is not a good sign for reality competition and could be a sign of a bigger problem for the future of the genre on television.  And certainly not good news for FOX.

The unemployment rate in America just got higher over the last few days as FOX Television’s X Factor heads toward a major cast shift after season one of the reality competition show.  In other words, X Factor is not American Idol.  And even that show is still dropping viewers.

Let’s say with clarity that this is not the way Simon Cowell expected his new show to fare on American television.  Paula Abdul is now out as a cast member on X Factor joining host Steve Jones and judge Nicole Scherzinger who have been let go from the show in a massive re-structuring.

Could there be more?  And why?

“I want to say a massive thank you to Paula, Nicole and Steve for being a part of ‘The X Factor’ last year,” said Simon Cowell in a statement.  Paula responded saying “…business decisions oftentimes override personal considerations” and that “Simon is and will remain a dear friend.”

X Factor pretty much won it’s time period for FOX when it aired but it is business.  With what they had to pay cast members along with the winning prize to the final winner, making a profit with such high production costs generally forces this type of change.

Politics is one real bitch isn’t it?  Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich are at each others throats because each knows one of the will be the nominee for the Republican party to face President Barack Obama in November.  I mean really at each others throat.  With a knife, a shank like they have in prison, a machete, one of those really cool steak knives they give you at Stephen Starr’s Barclay Prime steak joint on Rittenhouse Square in downtown Philadelphia.

I almost took that knife home after I devoured that Kobe steak which was just freaking awesome.

Now the campaign of both of these combatants has become so nasty that Mitt Romney has pissed off Tom Brokaw, the past face of NBC Nightly News as a commercial set to run on TV in Florida includes his brand in the content.  Yes Mitt Romney has stooped so low that he is running a commercial that has Tom Brokaw giving a news report about Newt Gingrich’s messy past as Speaker of the House back in the good old bad days for Newt.

NBC News and Tom Brokaw have asked Mitt Romney’s camp to pull the commercial.  And Mitt Romney is so on a mission to destroy Newt Gingrich that his waved the middle finger at NBC’s request.

This without a doubt is the week’s funniest video.  Just to warn you the content on the first video is unedited so there are a few words of low end wisdom coming from these guys as they take a ride on Giant Slingshot in Orlando Florida.  These two big, strong servicemen who protect our country just freak out as they’re expecting a countdown to launch which every man and woman serving in the military expects.

Well this is a clear indication that the show must go on.  Seems Demi Moore’s issues are so serious that there will be no waiting for her to get better as the producers of the biopic Lovelace have wasted no time in replacing her in the Gloria Steinem role the actress was set to play.

Lovelace is the name of project that would have starred Moore had she not spiraled downward last week after suffering from some significant substance abuse issues and being hospitalized.  Paramedics were called to the actress’s home after getting a 911 call saying she was having seizures.  The 49 year old Demi Moore was having serious mid life crisis issues as she started doing was is know on the street as ‘whip its’ which is use more by teenagers and 20 somethings instead of someone at her age.

Now that she’s been committed to the ‘loco lounge’ for a short stay, Mary Louise-Parker or Sarah Jessica-Parker will step in to the role of Gloria Steinem.  Lovelace is now shooting in Los Angeles and for those of you that are too young to remember the first lady of porn Linda Lovelace, Lovelace is a story about her career in the industry.

Well we always say on this site that reality television and the real world come to actuality many times as sometimes we tend to forget that these are normal people.  Too many times bloggers and others use the phrase “reality stars” in their writings and though quite entertaining, reality TV is far from making stars.  If it wasn’t for the reality TV genre these people would never exist.

And they certainly aren’t stars.

The Federal government made sure that Mob Wives cast member Renee Graziano’s future life is one emotional rollercoaster.  And her integration on VH1′s Mob Wive clearly hasn’t helped her father’s mob ties stay hidden.

Top ranking Bonanno family crime boss Anthony “TG” Graziano was taken Friday after an FBI-DEA bust that was apparently set up by the ex-husband of Renee Graziano who ratted out her dad.  Hector “Junior” Pagan turned DEA informant and gave them enough information to get “TG” arrested of numerous counts of racketeering and extortion.

Bet Thanksgiving will be a blast for this family, ya think?

Get this.  Hector “Junior” Pagan was part of the cast of Mob Wive as well and could have been wearing a wire during the show to snitch on Renee Graziano’s father.

After getting word of her father’s arrest, Renee Graziano collapsed after getting a panic attack and was rushed to a New York hospital for treatment.

Not part of her plan to leave that mob life behind for Renee Graziano.  Not only is her ex-husband her ex-husband but is the baby daddy of her teenage kid.  Can you say witness protection for Hector?  Yeah Albuquerque here he comes.

Yeah so I have to admit I was drunk one time on the air in my college radio days.  OK maybe a few more times but those days as a teenager were, well those days as a teenager.

Not like an adult as Pat Sajak and Vanna White were when they were a little blitzed on the air after downing a few cocktails at a close by Mexican restaurant where the top rated syndicated show  Wheel of Fortune was taped.

He was drunk.  Yeah drunk.

So back to my early radio days in college.  There was a bar down the street in the Temple University neighborhood.  I was the black guy that would take a bunch of white people to a ghetto neighborhood bar to get a bit plastered.  They never asked for ID to confirm that we were of age which was a good thing.  Cause we all would have been arrested.

But we weren’t.  So before we did the 5PM one hour news report, we were a bit tipsy before we went on the air.  And we were perfect in our style and delivery.  I really think some days alcohol does effect you positively when you just don’t give a hoot about what you’re doing in front of a mike.

But on Wheel of Fortune?

Show producer Harry Friedman must have crapped in his pants when he read this story.

During dinner breaks Pat and Vanna would go down the street to a Mexican restaurant and have a few margaritas before returning to finish taping Wheel of Fortune.  “Vanna and I would go across the street and have two or three or six,” margaritas said Sajak in an interview with ESPN which is the sports network for drunks.  So Pat fits right in with that sports network.  He also said they “would have trouble recognizing the alphabet” when doing the show trashed.

Wow!

Well this the last thing you’d want if you were the commissioner f the New York Police Department.  Or any police department.  Or anyone wearing a blue uniform attached to a badge and a gun.

Your own kid gets arrested.

FOX 'Good Day' Host Greg Kelly

NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly is feeling that pain today and this one is at least a career-ender for Greg Kelly, host of FOX TV New York’s ‘Good Day’ morning show.  The son of the police commissioner has been accused of rape after having drinks with a woman at New York’s South Street Seaport on October 8th.  Now the woman reportedly got pregnant and had an abortion according to reports.

It’s always that liquor that will just ruin people’s lives and careers, ya think?

Greg Kelly was not on the air this morning after the woman reported the incident to police Tuesday.  The allegded assault took place at the woman’s law firm in downtown Manhattan.

This story even turns more crazy for NYPD Police Commissioner Ray Kelly.  He was approached at an event by the woman’s boyfriend who was so upset at the incident that he wanted to ensure the case would not be pushed under a rug by the NYPD because of Ray Kelly’s influence.  His office immediately turned the case over to City Attorney Cy Vance for investigation.

Lew Leone, Vice President and General Manager of WNYW TV which airs ‘Good Day’ said only that “Greg Kelly has requested some time off.”

As a guy we’d all like to be in this guy’s shoes.  For the record ladies when men see a girl who can hold her own in the world of sports it’s an absolute turn on.  There’s nothing hotter than a woman who knows sports.  Not the kind that just wants to see an athlete in tight NFL gear showing off his thigh muscles. “Oh isn’t he really hot,” some women will say about Tim Tebow then has if the pass he throw to his wide receiver in the end zone was a home run.

Guys like a guy’s girl.  Some chick that can converse about the triangle offense or knows the batting average and number of home runs Albert Pujols hit last year.

So whoever this blond lady is from Comcast Sports Net Chicago get on that list.  She’s totally hot and totally blond and totally and obviously know about sports.  And this guy’s guy knows it as he is all over her during a between periods shoot out to try to score a goal through a small opening at the goalie net.

Watch this video.  You gotta give dude his props though anyone standing next to this well versed female sports announcer would probably say the same thing to her.
