It’s coming back.  The show that made FOX what it became in the 90′s and help lead it to the only network out of the major four that has show a rise in audience numbers is going back to basics and we think this is a smart move because In Living Color was a monster on FOX.

Two half hour specials are planned for In Living Color on FOX and if all goes well the show well receive an expanded number of episodes to relaunch the series in a big way.

With the upcoming 25 anniversary of the network known as FOX, bringing back In Living Color is part of that celebration.  Will the original members of that show return?  Jim Carrey made his bones on In Living Color along with Flygirl Jennifer Lopez as in American Idol‘s Jennifer Lopez and the likes of David Allen Grier also became well known names from In Living Color.

This will be fun.  Damon Wayans and Keenen Ivory Wayans, who was part of the original show, will be back as part of this program when it returns to FOX.

Well that wasn’t long her.  72 days if you’re counting the actual days from the wedding of the year and we’re not talking about Kate Middleton when we use the word “her” in the first sentence of this story has nothing to do with the royal wedding but “her” happens to be Kim Kardashian who tied the know with NBA player Kris Humphries.

Word comes that Kim didn’t really tell her husband she was divorcing him.  This dope found out through media reports that she had filed papers to split from him.

You just have to laugh yourself silly at this guy.  What a dork!

All that money, all that hype and all of that effort made by, well all of us for this wedding and we only get 72 days.

They’re calling it the world famous “irreconcilable differences” which is the easy way get out of a high profile divorce these days as the couple call it quits to their marriage.  And for the record upwards of $20 million was spent on this event that was even put on E! cable channel as a special.

So Kris Humprhies is losing a lot these days.  Big NBA money because of the league walkout and now a wife.

E! the so titled Family Kardashian Cable Television Network, is in emergency meetings trying to figure out what to do with this issue.  Guess that’s what you get when you build your network all on the backs of one family.

Once again this has got to be the most laughable day in 2011.  Maybe through 2012.  This is hilarious.

OK so we have more monsters to talk about.  The Walking Dead on AMC is out of this world.  One of television’s solid shows.  American Horror Story is so twisted and psychotic just keeping up with the content throughout this show leaves more questions than answers which just keeps you wanting the next episode to start just after you watched the last episode.  Now NBC brings the new series Grimm which surprisingly was more than entertaining if you want, well more monsters.

OK so their not really monsters.  They’re called Hexenbiests and Blutbads. Yeah you have to watch the  pilot episode to figure out what these mythical creatures who double as human beings in parts of their lives really are.  But Portland Detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) finds out he’s part of a group of people who battle back and forth with each other in modern times.

Now the Detective has to keep his new found relations a secret from his partner Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby) and enlists the help of a former Grimm creature to solve crimes taking place in his district.

Grimm is certainly not The Walking Dead or American Horror Story but serves up a great way to get to Halloween 2011.  The show is very entertaining and fits in well with the new genre of monster content on network or cable television.

Definitely worth the hour.

She’s only been sewing for four months and she becomes the winner of the big money, $100,000 from MyLifetime’s Project Runway.  Yet the former Miss Trinidad and Tobago is hot property already after winning Thursday night finale because celebrities are now after her to work on their gear.

Anya Ayoung-Chee is getting a lot of juice and some flak for her becoming the winner in Lifetime’s Project Runway.  Yes there are always some haters out there but she’s about to take her 100 grand and build her own brand despite some who think she didn’t deserve to win.

“It’s really overwhelming,” she told People Magazine after winning the top prize.  On those haters of her selection as this season’s top winner “I thought it was unnecessary at times, but I never took it personally,” she told People.

Haaaaaters!!!

Oh by the way she also took home $10,000 for being the show’s fan favorite.  Maybe the losers should look at getting a bit more personality that viewers will like.

Here we go again.  MTV finds itself in hot water again with another lawsuit arising from the network’s reality show Real World.  Tonya Cooley, a member of the cast of The Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Ruins, has hit MTV, the production company and two other cast members (Kenny Santucci and Evan Starkman) with a massive lawsuit claiming sexual assault during the taping of the show.

Don’t read the rest of this story if you’re squeamish.

Tonya Cooley claims she was sexually assaulted claiming Santucci and Starkman “took another male participant’s toothbrush and rubbed the toothbrush around the plaintiff’s genitals, including rubbing her labia and inserting the toothbrush into the plaintiff’s vagina,” according to TMZ.com.

In addition the lawsuit contends that female cast participants had their bathing suits removed and male cast members were encouraged by show producers to “inappropriately touch female cast members bodies, including in intimate areas.”

This one is going to get nasty.  Really nasty.

No specified damages were revealed in the lawsuit and of course no comment from MTV nor Bunim-Murray Productions.

Now comes some real competition for TV viewers of satellite and cable providers.  Most of us already are watching some content on our computers regularly but soon viewing TV programs on a big screen in your homes could become a thing of the past.  Or you’ll be connecting your computer to your TV non- stop.

The monster online video content provider YouTube is getting in to the production business developing partnerships with some of the biggest names in television.  They include Ashton Kutcher, the World Wrestling Federation,  Home Shopping Network, Anthony Zuiker (CSI creator), the Wall Street Journal and Warner Bros.

There will be 100 available channels featuring content that runs longer than the short term content you regularly see on YouTube.  There will even be an Hispanic channel featuring Sofia Vergara from ABC’s Modern Family to reach out to that quickly growing segment of the population.

Most of the channels aren’t set to launch until 2012 and will offer up to 25 hours or new content every day.

With three of the four networks consistently shedding audience every year, YouTube is in prime position to grab viewers looking to watch content beyond regular TV.  This without question is the biggest push to eliminate the big four networks ever in the new world of digital video.

Yeah we’re believing this one.  If you watched Steven Tyler on the Today Show Thursday he pretty much said he had a fall in the bathroom of his hotel room that blackened his eye and knocked out a couple of teeth.

He said it was a stomach issue that caused him to tip over in the bathroom in a Peru hotel during his Latin American tour and told Matt Lauer that he did not relapse from his past history with drugs and alcohol.  “I get that people think that,” said Tyler on the Today Show.  He want on to say “anyone who knows anyone who uses substances wouldn’t be up at this hour having a talk with Matt Lauer and the rest of America.”

But still Steven Tyler really looked messed up from the pictures released by his people after the alleged fall.  When asked by Lauer about his being sober Steven Tyler responded “it’s not the issue.”

The Aerosmith Latin American tour will continue.  In fact he went on stage with sunglasses to cover his busted up eye and when he took them off the audience cheered.  “It’s all about playing to the people,” said Steven Tyler.

And what a perfect place for Charlie Sheen and his new comedy project.  Perfect.  FX is the male version of Bravo which is so focused on women with he Real Housewives series and if you want to reach out the viewers that watch the Sons of Anarchy well Mr. Sheen will fit right in to this network.

Leave it up to anything related to FOX.

Charlie Sheen needs to thank Tyler Perry for his deal with FX.  Similar to what Perry has with TBS, Charlie Sheen’s agreement is based purely on performance on the back end.  The initial call is for 10 episodes to start with Anger Management and then if the show reaches a specified audience threshold and additional 90 episodes will be ordered by FX.  Which is exactly the deal Perry has with FX for Meet the Browns and House of Payne on TBS.

FX already is in the Charlie Sheen business with repeats of his Two and a Half Men series in syndication so the actor’s brand is already part of the network.  And with News Corp with full or partial ownership 14 networks including FX, most of them have a male skew which will be great for cross promotion of Anger Management.

We’ve all been taken by some swindlers.  Whether it’s the lowlife that plays the cash register exchange game, the Nigerian scams which are too many to mention, the online dating one that you think is a awesome looking girl but turns out to be some crook in Siberia or the letters you receive via e-mail offering you millions if you give them your personal information.

Yeah so many, too many to list.

Then there are true low life’s like Greg Bielawski over at ‘Mongo Rewards’ scams or their new name ‘Money On The Go’ scam that rip off money directly from people’s bank accounts.  The low end, bottom-feeders like Greg Bielawski are all around us.

But the level of Bernie Madoff is unimaginable.  So much so that ABC News veteran Barbara Walters, who has her own low life in her life in former ex-husband Merv Adelson who does nothing but rip people off, had a one on one sit down with the disgraced Bernie Madoff.

Only pen and paper were allowed in with Walters at Butner Cederal Corrections Prison in Raleigh, North Carolina.  Madoff sat with Walters for a two hour conversation which will be detailed during tonight’s ABC World News and Nightline on the same network.

Some highlights from the conversation include…

Madoff  “can live with” the anger from the people he defrauded for billions of dollars.

Has”horrible nightmares” from this whole fraud.

To his grandchildren Madoff is “sorry t have caused them pain.”

To his wife and family Madoff told Barbara Walters “I betrayed them.”  And that “Not seeing my family and knowing they hate me,” is the worst part of his prison term.

His family is keeping everything about his condition or why he was admitted  to an unknown hospital which was supposed to be a minor procedure but former 60 Minutes television newsman Andy Rooney is in stable condition following surgery.

The 92 year old three time Emmy winner who quit 60 Minutes three weeks ago developed serious complications after surgery according to a statement from CBS.

Not many more details as this story as his family has asked for privacy on why Andy Rooney was hospitalized.
