“I felt disrespected” as Craig T. Nelson Talks ‘Modern Family’ and ‘Parenthood’ on ‘Access Hollywood’ (Video)
It’s all about the Benjamins baby according to veteran actor Craig T. Nelson with an amazing admission on ‘Access Hollywood Live’ this week. Hosts Billy Bush and Kit Hoover spoke with the guy who plays the patriarch on NBC’s ‘Parenthood’ about why he turned down Ed O’Neill’s character on ‘Modern Family’ to take his current part as ‘Zeek Braverman.’

And there’s more he says as “I just felt disrespected,” with what the producers offered him for ‘Modern Family’ and Nelson turned down the role.
‘Modern Family’ has been a monster hit for ABC while ‘Parenthood’ has struggled to get decent ratings but is now moving to Tuesday night on NBC where they hope the popularity of the show will improve.

Former boss Ed Rendell is now a paid political analyst to NBC News. Which means he will be seen not only on ‘Nightly News’ and ‘Meet the Press’ but also on MSNBC programming. Most of his work will be on the upcoming 2012 Presidential election and one of his first job duties was as an analyst on tonight’s State of the Union Address.
